The Money Laundering rules require us to undertake an identity check. A long explanation for the need to do this can be found here. The short explanation is that checking everybody’s identification keeps us all safe and prevents crime.
In order to comply with the rules we need you to provide the following documents:-
1. A form of photographic identity such as a passport or driving licence.
2. A proof of address such a utility bill or bank statement.
The easiest way for you to comply with this requirement is to take a photograph of each of your documents with your phone. Then click this email link idcheck@hwsolicitors.co.uk which will open your email application and prepare a new email to us. Simply attach your photographs to the email and press send. You do not need to add any other information or our reference.
Should you prefer to use WhatsApp simply click this link WhatsApp which will open WhatsApp on your phone with a message to us already open. Simply attach your photographs to the message and press send. You do not need to add any other information or our reference.
Should you be unable to provide copies of the documents in this way you can comply with the identity check by printing your photographs and posting them to us at:

Alternatively you can visit our office at the above address with your original documents and we will copy them for you.
